2004 BMW 325ti? wut?

Never even knew they continued the ti hatches in E46 form..... I'm in heaven I love the front end of this thing, I love the hatchback, I JUST LOVE IT. D; usa u suck!

I considered buying one not so long ago.

The... let's say "specialness" of the design means they're way cheaper than a 325i or a 325ci, with better performance, less weight and -in my opinion- better practicality.

The problem with those is that these are 10 years old "sporty" RWD cars that sell for cheap on the 2nd hand market... so most of the times they've already been through the hands of the kind of owners you want to avoid.

I didn't know either. I really don't like the look of the front of the E46 (flamesuit on), but that kind of improves it. Very interesting looking car.

The front end is a bit strange looking but they look decent from the rear. I got to drive one in Greece some years ago; I think it was a 316 and I don't remember it being anything special.

I prefer this front end as well (also puts on flame suit) The E46 sedan to me is too plain and basic.

I've never been a fan of the Compact (headlamps are too squint). But for the money of a second hand one, it's a good entry car to the marque as they are so inexpensive.

Everytime I see a post of a Eurobox a North American has seen, I end up on Autotrader to see what's available. Looking at 24 right now.

I honestly think the E46 M3 is the worst-looking of the bunch. (Do they make a flamesuit this protective?)The engine/performance is one of the best though.

I'm more of a bmw guy myself, I drove a 2011 3 series all of last year to school. My dad drives a Mercedes and I really prefer the driving characteristics of the BMW.

After looking at some E36 Compacts and E46 Compacts. I prefer the E36 front end, looks like a shortened coupe.

I tossed around the idea of picking up a 318ti last year as a cheap and fun DD/AutoX car. I'm betting a 325ti would have more "oomph" if you catch my drift... see what I did there?

My family is primarily landrovers and mercedes and my volkswagen ( I jsut can justify the payment on a german luxury car)

I'm a BMW guy and I agree with this. The clean design language of the time just didn't work for me on the 3 series, whereas on the E39 5 series it worked right. Maybe something about the sizes of the vehicles? Not sure.

I've never met a fellow BMW fan that disliked the look of the E46! Nice to meet you! The E39 is a very nice looking car. It really plays out the roll of an "Executive luxury sedan."

Yup, every single second hand bimmer I saw / tried was a tired one which turned out to have crappy modifications like M3 mirrors, cone filters, etc...
